New Mexico time lapse

The last few weeks have been crazy and hectic and I haven't had time to do a time lapse video. I had a commissioned detailed painting that I needed to finish and dedicated a lot of time to that. I also had my daughter's grad school graduation. I now have a Master of Music in the family. She earned her degree in French Horn performance and in the future you will hear her in an orchestra. It was wonderful to go travel to her graduation after a year of staying home. I am looking forward to the orchestras starting back up with their performances.

The painting is a time lapse painting of the mountains of New Mexico. My daughter gave me the picture and asked if I would paint it. I had never done a desert landscape before and was excited to paint something different. I think it turned out pretty well, especially for never having done a painting like this before. (Although my husband asked if I was painting a volcano so hmmm, maybe not that good.)
